Key Stage 3

In Humanities, students study the subjects of history, geography and religious education. We have constructed the course using modular frame humanitywork. Students work with a teacher over the course of a year, spending equal amounts of time on each main discipline. The faculty has interpreted the National Curriculum in these areas and created an exciting programme of study.

We engage in a variety of teaching and training styles including independent research, role-play, group work and discussion. Emphasis is placed upon developing historical and geographical skills. Students are given opportunity to enhance their ICT skills to support their learning.
